Our client is currently seeking a Care and Lifestyle Coordinator for their state-of-the-art age care facility located in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

The Care & Lifestyle Coordinator will ensure, through clinical expertise and supervision, the delivery of high quality care and appropriate lifestyle choices for residents.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse - List A
• Desirable- post basic qualification in gerontology/aged care management
• Experience to level at least greater than In-Charge or Assistant Director of Nursing
• Experience in MS Office and Outlook

Essential Competencies and Experiences:

• Ability to lead, motivate and supervise care and lifestyle teams
• Ability to be innovative in the provision of clinical care and lifestyle activities in aged care
• Expertise in clinical management and the ability, through clinical leadership and support, to
• foster a culture of best practice
• Experience in the development, provision and facilitation of training in clinical care areas
• A customer focussed approach in the complaints management and feedback process
• Ability to develop and manage rosters
• Ability to cover roster shortfalls when and if the need arises
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Sound organisational skills
• Ability to interact, work cohesively with and deputise for the Executive Director
