Chemotherapy Nurse - Buckinghamshire

JP Recruit are currently seeking an experienced Nurse with Oncology and Chemotherapy experience to join a busy Oncology clinic at a Private Hospital in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established 40 bedded hospital, which has invested in advanced medical technology and has 2 fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology, endoscopy suite and 12 consulting rooms.

The hospital provides high quality healthcare services to patients throughout Buckinghamshire, covering numerous specialities, including Breast Surgery, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Colorectal Surgery, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology Orthopaedic, Spinal Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Paediatrics and Vascular Surgery. This full time role involved working with the Oncology team to provide a high standard of care to Outpatients and Chemotherapy Day Care.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical care for our Oncology patients during their chemotherapy treatment, ensuring safe and effective administration of treatments. You will also provide support to patients using a telephone triage process for treatment enquires and ongoing clinical management. Regularly liaising with your colleagues, you will an active member of the multi disciplinary team in the clinical meetings associated with patient treatment regimes and management processes. You will be expected to promote exceptional service at all times, and develop your own knowledge and skills.

The ideal candidate will have current/recent Oncology experience within an Oncology Unit and ihold an additional nursing qualification in Oncology and administering Chemotherapy/Cytotoxic Therapy (N59 or equivalent qualification).
