Oncology Nurse Specialist - East Sussex

Fantastic opportunity for experienced Oncology Nurses to join a rapidly expanding national team of Oncology Nurse Specialists.

We currently have several permanent opportunities for experienced and suitably qualified Nurses to provide a chemotherapy service to patients within East Sussex. The role involves managing patients appointments for their chemotherapy, line flushes, blood tests and injections. To assist in the recording/reporting of adverse events/incidents; including side-effects of therapy.
Working hours are Monday - Friday and also providing an out of hour's advice service on call 1 week a month.

Applicants must be experienced Oncology Nurses with up-to-date cannulation and infusion skills and ideally an N59/equivalent qualification or a recognised course in Administration of Cytotoxic Therapy. Furthermore, excellent communication and customer care skills, a confident, outgoing manner and a highly flexible approach to the working week are essential attributes required for this role.
Post holders will be expected to work autonomously, managing their own diaries and assuming responsibility for patients within pre-defined regional territories. As such, applicants must also have a full driving license and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage their time efficiently and effectively.
