Fantastic opportunity awaits experienced Mental Health Nurses seeking a new challenge.
Our Client is one of the leading independent sector providers of Mental Health, Forensic Mental Health, Personality Disorders, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Asperger Syndrome and Learning Disability services within Independent Hospitals, Step Down Units and community-based Care Homes. With an aim to deliver quality services which meet the needs of patients and clients. They are currently looking to recruit a Clinical Nurse (RNLD/RMN) in the medium secure forensic hospital in East Yorkshire. The hospital is a modern, purpose built 110 bedded independent secure hospital which provides both low and medium secure service for adults, (18 - 65) with learning or personality/developmental disorders and challenging behaviours. The hospital provides Medium Secure Services and Therapeutic Enhanced Secure Services for Men and also Women's Enhanced Secure Services in a gender-specific environment. Our Client is seeking a new team member who has a keen interest in supporting people who exhibit some behaviour that challenge services. The successful candidate will need to show a commitment to working in a challenging environment. In return the successful candidate can expect full training and development, supervision and coaching to extend their continuous professional development. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Provision of nursing care for residents, ensuring a high standard of care at all times Challenging behavior management including self-harm and suicide risk management Nursing support, advice and guidance to members of multidisciplinary team Assisting Clinical Team Leader in effective deployment of resources according to the requirements of the Registration Authority Supporting the monitoring of care and implementing corrective actions, as appropriate Participating in resident reviews, tribunals and handovers Care planning and review A competitive salary of £26k - £32k depending on experience and excellent benefits package awaits the ideal candidate.
