JP Recruit is currently working on behalf of a prestigious private hospital in the region of Northamptonshire, which currently has a vacancy for a dual skilled Theatre Practitioner to work within its expanding Theatre Department.
Working within a busy theatre environment, the post-holder will become an integral member of the theatre team, ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of care in accordance with recognised protocols. The hospital comprises of 49 beds, three theatres, an endoscopy and minor procedures room and a 4 bed High Dependency Unit. Our Client provides high quality healthcare services to patients throughout Northamptonshire, covering numerous specialities, including Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Cosmetic Surgery, Paediatrics, Vascular Surgery, Oncology, Breast Surgery and General Surgery. Applicants will be dual qualified and motivated Theatre Practitioners (RGN/ODP) with minimum of 12 months recent theatre experience. The ideal candidate will be competent in Anaesthetics and either Scrub or Recovery and evidence of competency in intravenous drug administration. Basic Life support training is essential. Qualifications •City & Guilds Certificate 752 or equivalent •Operating Department Practitioner level 3/RGN •Registration with either the UKCC or HPC professional register. •Evidence of recent professional development An excellent benefits package awaits successful applicants and a competitive salary circa of £24-28k p.a. depending on experience/qualifications.
